In advance of Saturday’s March for Our Lives in Seattle, we speak with one of the co-organizers, Tahoma High School student Rhiannon Rasaretnam, about how her generation isn’t taking no for an answer when it comes to gun safety legislation.
We also talk with Snoqualmie Valley Indivisible leader Michelle Straka about why she chose to stage a March for Our Lives rally in North Bend, and about how people may want to consider joining an event where they live, particularly if it’s a red district represented by pro-gun lawmakers.
And finally, we chat with Mari Urbina, Indivisible’s political director, all about how groups can and should endorse candidates running for Congress and governorships, and about how national Indivisible is officially joining in that process.
