Stephan Cox is a broadcasting veteran, working in and around radio for over 30 years. He was the host of the former Radio Show for PRI, and has reported for NPR’s Weekend All Things Considered. He was a founding member of, and show host at, the groundbreaking interview website,, while also hosting a weekly arts and culture show on KUSF in San Francisco, as well as a weekly call-in tech show for Talk Radio Network. During that time, he interviewed numerous prominent creative people—everyone from David Byrne, Willie Nelson, and Chuck D to Liv Ulmann, Ed Harris, Ray Suarez, Elliott Smith, Billy Bragg, and countless others.

For the last fifteen years, Cox has worked as a nationally-recognized voiceover actor, lending his voice to thousands of commercials, video games, animated series, as well as narration and promos for NBC, FOX, FX, Spike, and countless others. You can hear his work here.

Cox attended the drama program at UC Irvine, and the Masters in American Studies program at Columbia University.
